FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What's CloudCrowd

CloudCrowd is where work gets done. We bring together people who want to work, and work that pays.
What's the work like?

Typical projects include image and video tagging, finding information online, and quick writing and editing projects. Work ranges in difficulty, and longer tasks typically pay more. With the variety of work offered, we’re sure you’ll find tasks you enjoy.

Why Earn Money With CloudCrowd?

* No set schedule – Work for 5 minutes or 5 hours. Work at 2 PM or 2 AM.
* Work wherever you want – Work from home, or wherever you’re most comfortable—anywhere you have a computer and internet access.
* Work today, get paid the next business day* – Your time is valuable, so you get compensated quickly.

How do I get paid?

You get paid the next business day via PayPal when your work is approved before 5:00PM Pacific Time. You need a PayPal account to get paid for the work you do on CloudCrowd. If you don’t already have one, sign up for your free account here.

How do I deposit earnings into a bank account?

Paypal will directly deposit your earnings into your bank account if you chose. Alternatively, you can receive a debit card from PayPal to access your account, or request that PayPay send you a check.

How do I know you'll pay me?

If you’re concerned, try a task or two first and see how quickly you’re paid. When you complete a task correctly by 5:00PM Pacific Time, we add money to your CloudCrowd account by midnight of the next business day.

How do you know the work I do is accurate?

CloudCrowd uses a proprietary method to cross-check your answers with answers from other workers, and with answers to which we already know the correct answer. Each task you perform correctly will increase your credibility score. By answering correctly you’ll be able to continue to work on CloudCrowd projects and gain access to a wider range of work.

How do I make real money?

You deserve fair compensation for the work you do on CloudCrowd. When we price tasks, we estimate completion time to help us calculate compensation. Since most tasks don't take long to complete, try a few types of work and see what you like. Even tasks paying $.01 each can add up if you’re able to complete them quickly and accurately.

How does CloudCrowd find work?

CloudCrowd actively approaches companies to find work they need done quickly and efficiently. When a company gives us a project, we break it down into a smaller set of tasks that you complete.

How else can I make money?

Refer your friends, and you’ll make money when they complete work.

Facebook Users War!

Posted by Meh | 6:16 PM | , | 0 comments »

A friend sent me this forwarded e-mail about the latest on what's happening in Facebook, the largest social network to date. I just copied the e-mail content and I claimed no ownership as to the original content of this e-mail. I just want to share to all so that you may know. Feel free to comment. You are entitled to your own opnion. :)

Just today, FACEBOOK users from all over the Philippines flooded with comments another user named JACQUELINE BERMEJO for what seem to be a very insensitive, irresponsible, offensive and careless statement she posted on the social network site’s wall. I found out about this via JULIUS BABAO’s re-tweet.

As of writing, there are 1,086 comments from users coming from various locations and all walks of life expressing their objections and feedbacks about her controversial statement and bad attitude towards the victims of the epic flooding in Manila that left thousands homeless and hundreds dead.

While both OFWs abroad and Filipinos here mourn over this great tragedy, this lady from DUBAI thought differently. As all of us unite to provide help and support, she herself took an unbelievable stand on the matter by tagging victims as sinners who deserves whatever happened to them.

Anyway, WHO IS JACQUE BERMEJO? Well, I got some information as well from various online sources and I am posting them here to perhaps put a better reference on the issue and on the person plus put justice to to the case. What happened is not a joke and so her statement is not a joke as well! It’s cruel!

IS SHE FOR REAL? Perhaps, this may be a case of IDENTITY THEFT that someone with deep hatred on her made up all these or perhaps, she really is for real and was not in a good mood when she posted her statement. I do hope that she get to speak, explain and do a public apology. At any rate, damage has been done already!

And here's a copy of the letter said to be forwarded to Jacque's Dubai boss:

Dear Mr. _____,

A group of concerned Filipino citizens would like to inform you about the disgraceful public conduct of one of your employees, Jacqueline Bermejo. While we are in no way directly associated or remotely acquainted with Jacqueline, a viral detestation of her character as a person has been made apparent to thousands of people around the world, ourselves included. This enmity has driven the public and the press to know who Jacqueline is--where she came from, where she lives, where she works--inevitably leading them to CasaPrestige.

The day the Philippines was hit by Typhoon Ketsana (local typhoon name Ondoy), resulting in massive flooding and the loss of human lives and thousands of homes, Jacqueline made an irreverent public remark on a Filipino FaceBook community page (screencap here), saying and we quote "buti n lng am hir in dubai! maybe so many sinners bak der! so yeah deserving wat hapend!". Roughly translated and improved upon, it can be understood as, 'It's a good thing I'm here in Dubai . There might be a lot of sinners back there [ Philippines ]. So yeah, they deserved what happened".

We are not requesting that any actions of dismissal or reprimand be done on your part, as this matter is strictly unassociated with your business or how Jacqueline conducts herself at work. But her gross and public slur, lack of sensitivity and propriety, and not to mention her blatant recklessness, are qualities unfitting of someone in her role and position as an officer; and although it is irrelevant to the purpose of this letter, her grasp of the English language as a public relations practitioner seems rather questionable. Also, we believe you have the right to know about the matter, as we fear her hate speech toward her own countrymen currently suffering from a calamity will undoubtedly create a negative impression on CasaPrestige and the values the company represents.

On behalf of all Filipinos and supporters and to those who have come to know CasaPrestige as Jacqueline Bermejo's employer, we thank you for taking the time to read this letter and we hope that your company remains unaffected by this scandal.

Sincerely yours,
Concerned Filipino Citizens

Some said and commented that she's innocent, that she is the victim here. Can we blame it on technology glitches or worms etc etc?

You decide....
